We know that our members and colleagues are very excited about the opportunity to reconnect in-person with the professional community, and we are excited to be able to provide the format to do so. We are in the process of lining up great programming and experiences for HR and I-O professionals to network, learn, and present. Details will be made available as they are finalized.

Hotel

This year's conference will be held at The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. Due to proximity to the IPAC Conference dates, hotel rooms at the San Diego Westin Gaslamp are no longer guaranteed at the IPAC discounted rate and are subject to general availability. Please book room reservations directly through the hotel by calling (619) 239-2200. Reference the IPAC Conference during booking.

Safety Protocol

IPAC highly values your health and safety and we want all attendees to feel comfortable to enjoy the in-person conference. Although we will not require proof of vaccination, we highly encourage attendees to get vaccinated for their own safety and the safety of others. We also request that you take the personal responsibility to refrain from attending conference events if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID, regardless of vaccination status.

Please note the following regarding health and safety precautions at the 2022 IPAC conference:

• We will be using a colored button system so that attendees can easily communicate their comfort level with proximity to other attendees ranging from green, to yellow, to red. Specific details about this system and definitions for each color will be provided at the conference.
• We will provide disposable masks and hand sanitizing stations throughout the conference areas.
• All hotel-provided refreshments, the welcome reception, and the exhibitor's hall will be on the Westin's Garden terrace, which is a large open-air space, so we can enjoy San Diego's perpetually sunny weather.
• The Westin is taking extra care for your health and safety throughout your hotel stay. See details posted on their website on what to expect, including enhanced cleaning protocols, social distancing measures, and contactless experiences.
• We typically have a smaller group of IPAC attendees compared to similar industry conferences, so it will be easier to participate while maintaining social distancing.

We will continue to monitor and adjust plans according to CDC recommendations, public health orders, government regulations, etc. We will provide additional information on COVID safety recommendations, including best practices set forth by the CDC and/or required by state and local public health officials, as we get closer to the conference.

Special note: If your plans to attend the conference change after you register, you can request to transfer your registration fee either to another person to attend the 2022 conference, or for yourself to attend the 2023 conference.
