Approach
Every year, IPAC hosts a three-day conference that presents trends and best practices in a collaborative environment to work through I-O related challenges. The relationships created and resources discovered at the conference extend throughout the year through ongoing conversations online, IPAC publications, regional events and monthly updates.

History
Established in 1976, IPAC (then known as IPMAAC) operated as a section of the International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR) through 2008. We are now an independent nonprofit organization.

With a rich background and over 40 conferences in cities all over the country, IPAC has served the field and created lasting relationships between members, some who have been resources for each other over the span of decades.

Who we are
Our members include HR directors and managers, specialists in staffing, recruiting, and organizational performance management, Industrial-Organizational psychologists, attorneys, management consultants, academic faculty and students, and others. They also come from all different settings: from the private sector to nonprofits, to the public sector, where members range from local to federal government. All share professional interests and expertise in the development and effective use of HR selection and assessment methods.
