Personnel Classification and Assessment Analyst I

Salary Range:  $48, 118 - $76,925

Hiring Range: $48,118 - $60,093 (In accordance with Personnel Board Rule 5.2(a), at the discretion of the Appointing Authority, an applicant may be appointed up to the mid-range of the pay plan for professional and technical positions.)

Description: The Personnel Classification and Assessment Analyst I performs highly responsible professional work in one or more of the major functional areas of personnel, including job analysis, test development and validation, compensation, classification and related personnel activities.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in industrial/organizational psychology, human resource administration, or closely related field, preferably supplemented by a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology, and a minimum of one year of experience in job analysis, and/or test development and validation.
