Under her leadership at the Richmond (VA) Police department, minority representation trended at 40% of the sworn population, solidifying RPD as the most inclusive law enforcement agency within the state of Virginia. Additionally, under her tenure, as the national average for women in law enforcement trended at 11%; Antoinette and her team ensured the departments’ female representation trended between 20-22%. These successes, and others, fueled her desire to replicate these proven inclusion strategies with other agencies across the nation and solidified her public speaking career. After studying Human Resource Management at the University of Richmond in 2003, Antoinette obtained her professional designation in HR (PHR). In January 2017, she obtained her Human Resources Project Management certification (HRPM) and in May 2021, she obtained her DEI certification from the University of South Florida-Muma College. In January 2021, Antoinette re-launched her boutique HR consulting firm, HURTLE, LLC to focus specifically on HR training & development for forward-thinking public safety agencies and people.
