We are looking into our system for establishing new positions and assigning the appropriate bargaining unit.
I am curious if in your agency, it is your HR Department, Labor Relations, or someone else that assigns the bargaining unit? Is there a checklist or certain parameters that you follow or use in making your determination?
I would appreciate any information or documents you can provide.
