When an organization is accused of discrimination, it makes the news. And, whether the allegations are true or utterly groundless, the organization’s core values are called into question and its reputation is tarnished. This workshop will examine the impact of the current legal environment on how organizations’ strategic goals, values and ethics can be legally reflected in their employee assessment systems. Recent cases and enforcement actions will be analyzed, and the experiences of attendees will be incorporated into the discussion. This will evolve into formulating ways to effectively communicate the state of the science to top organizational decision makers. The workshop will close with a testing expert taking the witness stand for questioning by two attorneys, and by the attendees, based on what they’ve previously learned.
